Using VoiceOver, I cannot even register with this app! Edit fields are not specified on the first screen asking for the mobile number, but the virtual keyboard is there. Then, the validation screen appears, and I can read and validate there. Then, the screen for entering the Vonage number and password has no edit fields recognized by VO and there is no virtual keyboard, so I cannot sign in, at all.
I am currently living in the UK but have a US based Vonage account. The system is not set up to allow my UK mobile number to be linked with my US home number. This is a big disappointment for many of the US expats living in the UK because a lot of us use Vonage to stay in touch with family and friends.
99% of my calls show up in my iPhone notifications area but not in the app. I have to go to the web to see my call log. Then manually enter the number to the block log. This app doesn't work as advertised.
used to be an awesome app, but after last update the app will hangup a call if someone else tries to call you during the same time i.e. call waiting is now screwedup....very annoying!
1) if there are more than one ph numbers stored for a contact, and after dialing one of them from 'contacts' menu.. Next time if u want to see which one u dialed from the 'resent' menu, u can't. It will show only the contact name, but not which particular number from that contact. 2) while u r talking, if u get another call or ur pre-set alarm goes off, and if u attend that and come back to Vonage ,, this will be in 'hold' mode.. Which is exactly correct.. But, to come out of hold mode,, it it not working properly.
(The 11/6 update doesn't solve this issue) I have a lot of contacts and the app seems to be trying to load them every time it boots up. This takes about 30s to load - way too long and any incoming calls are sent to voice mail before the app loads. Furthermore, the app doesn't present linked contacts as a unified view as is the case with the iOS Contacts app. Finally, it constantly hangs. These are basic features for the app to be effective! The only redeeming feature is the caller-blocking.
