We had a wonderful brunch with great service. The decorating for he holiday put everyone in a dazzling mood. We will be back!
Although it took too long for the waiter to come to our table and we didn't get our drinks before ordering, when he greeted us he apologized the. Have us his full attention from then forward. The food was unique and delicious. Even my picky teenage boys found something they loved on the brunch menu. The ambiance was beautiful at Christmas time, with lit and decorated trees and decor from the early 1900's - quaint, cozy and romantic. We sat in a smaller room, where we felt part of the restaurant but it was quiet and more priv... read more
higher price points, moderate portions, lovely ambience, very slow service and unattentive and unfriendly server. We attended before going to the theatre for a play. We had reservations and were seated immediately. It took half an hour to get our salads, another half hour to get entree and 15 minutes to get the dessert. Although we arrived two hours before the play, we were worried we wouldn't make it to the play on time. Our server was unattentive, had to ask for refills and when food was arriving. Although it was not busy ... read more
the BLT salad was okay, had a lot of dressing! The pasta was wonderful. we were not thrilled with the wine we choose. the waiter recommended a blend that was kind of blah. The parking is horrible. the building was nicely decorated and inviting
We always enjoy the atmosphere and the food at WA Frost. This time the atmosphere was still beautiful, but the food quality has suffered. Main courses were cooked well and plated nicely, fresh seasonal vegetables. However the visual appeal of the plate was overcome by the mains which were both very over-salted - a strip steak and the chicken, both of which in the past have been "no-... read more
We keep coming back for the great ambiance, food and service. They never fail us.
Great place for food and conversation
Seven friends had a nice experience at Frost for a Christmas gathering. The food was good, although not exceptional. That statement probably reflects the fact that I an not a "foodie." When I order trout, that's what I want. Not a bunch of fru-fru. When I order I brownies, that's what I want. The chocolate. I don't want it smothered in extraneous food stuffs. So, the place is too "she-she" for me. Another example of "chefs run amuk." But, having said that, most of our group enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent, the fi... read more
Great place for our post-graduation gathering for 11 people, late in the evening. Beautiful Christmas decorations and overall ambience. Terrific food - both a later dinner for few and elegant desserts for rest of us.
