Sitting at an outdoor patio in warm weather is just what it's all about and this place has a great outdoor setup! Food was good but the sweet corn risotto was excellent!
Brought my wife here for a Friday evening date. It was a fairly relaxed atmosphere. The service was delightful. The food was spectacular.
Thanks for helping to make my wife's birthday a memorable, special event. It was the first time for us at W A Frost, but certainly won't be the last. We enjoyed it very much. Thank you, Adam
I had the Halibut and it was over cooked. Very dry and not much flavor at all. My girlfriend had a very good meal (chicken), but the meal was also over priced for the portion. The service was very good and the restaurant was very elegant. I am not sure I will be back after the poor quality meal I received.
Favorite restaurant in St Paul. Great ourdoors area. Mussels are super!
Table service was good. Timely. Not particularly friendly though. Not un-friendly. Just "removed". A little too hoity-toity. Still left 20% tip. I had the New York Strip. Loved the square potato and veggies. Meat had some tough parts. Shouldn't be that way for $38. Wife had the Scallops. Only 3 for the plate? Come On! And she disliked the sausage paring. WA Frost never disappoints. Love their micro menu. An entrée from the micro menu paired with greens and vinaigrette is satisfying and leaves room for a fabulous dessert. Creative offerings presented nicely. Staff is attentive and knowledgeable. Beautiful surroundings and a comfortable noise level provide the perfect setting for an intimate dinner for two. We had six at our table and were able to converse easily without annoying those seated at nearby tables. In my opinion, not the place for kids!
W.A. Frost is a staple to the St. Paul area. There really is nothing comparable to its unique outdoor patio area, especially at night. Great romantic date spot. Awesome character inside and out. Food is to die for! LOVE it!
Our experience was great. We will be back.
