I work for 3M here in Austin, but I was up in St. Paul with customers. I have been to your restaurant before, but enjoyed another visit, as the weather was perfect, the gardens were gorgeous, and the food was awesome. The service was amazing, and the ambiance was great. I would recommend this highly to anyone visiting or living in St. Paul!
The food was excellent but the service was slow.
Great place to meet a friend for quiet conversation, excellent wine and a unique menu. The Halibut was excellent. The unique structure and decor creates a sense of intimacy. It has enclosed outdoor patio as well.
We had a group of 15 for Sunday lunch. We were in a private area - just like a private room. People could converse easily with a person at the other end of the table. More than 1/2 the group were from out of town and were really impressed with the restaurant from the neighborhood to the ambience and, of course, the food. We will definitely go back!
The dining room where we were seated was noisy and crowded. The acoustics were terrible for conversation. I would return to W. A. Frost but refuse to be seated in the dining room that is past the pathway from the kitchen to the patio.
Not a complaint amongst us! Great food, great wine, great service.....beautiful restaurant. WA Frost can always be counted on to be excellent at what they do.
We enjoyed our night out, the food was great and service was very good. Thought it was a little pricy, however, for what you got.
W.A. Frost was recommended to me by a local as I was visiting from out of town. The restaurant was a delightful discovery and I will definitely frequent this new find again!
