Frost has an excellent reputation. Seated outside, comfortably, as it became darker, food and menu were very difficult to read. The waiter was attentive, but soon became annoying with checking on us constantly. Mussels were excellent as were the entrees. Dessert was very good though could not see the details because of the darkness. Felt dining was OK. Could have turned patio heaters on as it became chilly throughout dinner.

I felt badly that our server didn't have the message I had given the restaurant ahead of time about my friend's birthday. It was rather awkward when the server said the hostess had left for the day and that the hostess had not given the server the information.

New to the area, I've been looking for great eateries; Frost was suggested. The food is inventive, but not overly 'nouveau', with a good dessert presentation. Al fresco dining is excellent! Inside is conducive to good conversation; beautiful antiques and design accoutrement suggest a nice elegance, while not appearing...stuffy? Our server was excellent. He was able to answer questions about food and wine options. He assisted in an entree decision and the meal was spectacular.

This spot provided what will go down in my wife's book as the best date we have ever had. The ambiance was superb, the waitstaff was well studied, and the food was incredible. She had the Halibut, and I tried the chef's burger. Both were beyond expectation. We also tried the oysters as well. She loved them, I didn't, but that's strictly because of my preference. Excellent food, exemplary service. Had to almost shout to be heard by my lunch companion until the crowd thinned out after 1:30.

Food was refreshingly distinct & flavorful. We've always enjoyed the ambience at Frost's. And once again we were not disappointed. However, for the first time we felt our waitress was not adequate. When we needed her she was nowhere to be seen. This occurred at least 4 times. This was bothersome.
