The "mini desserts" are just the right portion and quite delicious.
We've been here in winter and enjoyed it inside, but really love their outdoor patio. Pleasantly quiet and comfortable, remarkably bug-free. Great menu and imagined but not over-the-top drinks menu.
Had a great experience dining at WA Frost with my mother on a Tuesday evening in August. Patio is beautiful, especially as the sun goes down. Service was very friendly and patient. Plate sizes are on the smaller side, but presentation is clearly valued. Overall, nice experience.
For my first ever trip to the Twin Cities, I must say that I was not let down by this Minnessota gem. The parking lot is a bit snug with small spaces for anything larger than a smart car, but if that's something that will keep you away than you should probably just stay in your hotel room or eat at one the Mall of Americas kitschy chain restaruants. We've dined many times there but only inside. That night we wanted to check out the patio and we were pleasantly surprise! It looks like a little city, an outdoor terrace somewhere in Paris. Best outdoor dining in the cities. Food was excellent and our waiter was nice and was smiling all the time.
I had lunch with a friend during the week, normally a 1 hour experience. This place wraps you in it's experience and let's you escape the world around you. Well thought environmental design with very good food.
Love WA Frosts any time we are in the TC. So lovely and relaxing on the outdoor patio. We ordered the Veg Omelette at servers suggestion. We all thought it was mediocre at best with very few vegetables-(Corn, zucchini)couldnt taste the small amount of goat cheese it had-Needed some zip. My husband commented hiis had almost no vegetables and said it was -BORING! I didn't bother to eat more than a few bites. Service was excellent and ambiance sitting in the garden setting was fabulous.
Although the food is delicious, it always seems a very long wait for the food to come, even just for the appetizers.
Great restaurant, excellent food and great wine list.
