Waterman is a nice place to be if you are sick and need medical attention and homeless with nowhere to go the staff for the most part is nice a few problems but they can be corrected easily . I am a patient here at Waterman David G

Waterman Canyon Post Acute is a very helpful facility. I am very grateful for the service that they provide. We could no longer have my mother in law at home due to her having advanced dementia and it was not safe for her to be at home any longer. Michael in admissions was so very helpful and patient in getting her admitted. He went above and beyond the call of duty, he was there to answer any questions that we had. Thank you Michael! I'm giving this place 3 because I do see the effort in many nurses. They feel they are understaffed and I agree. They get overwhelmed at times I'm here right now for PT. The PT staff had me standing the second day! They are great. Many don't care if ur ok or not.. but for the ones that do, kudos to ya! I had an unforgivable experience one night with a nurse never once coming to check on my room. My grandmother told me today how much she loves the CNA named Lidia who works the night shift. She is always checking on her multiple times throughout the night. Asking if she is ok, if she needs anything, and offering anything that she requests. She is so polite and makes my grandmother feel like she is a person, not just some "patient." She will sit down and talk with her which makes my grandmother feel so happy that she doesn't feel alone because we can't be with her during the night hours. So I'm back because I have some important, but sad news. When my mother went home from Waterman Sat.feb12th., they (Warerman), had recommended to her provider to have at least 3-4 more weeks of therapy to get stronger before going home with outpatient therapy. They didn't listen to this facilities (Waterman), recommended continuing therapy, but released her home to us & we had asked also but we were turned down. So only 8 hours home & my mom fell again and broke her wrist in 2 places & again she was back in the horrible dese... read more

When i came here i was scared to death not knowing anything about the place. now i realized that we are all one big family, i loved most of the staff and most of the patients. Waterman is the best place to go during recovery from the acute hospital, all my needs are taking care and address in timely manner. I loved the Rehab Team, Clara the CNA is Amazing and Jennifer.
