Whitney Oaks has been a blessing to my 80-year old mother who is suffering from many health issues (obesity, diabetes, congestive heart failure, pacemaker, immobility) that have increased over the past few years. My husband and I who look over mom always feel welcome the moment we step in.. from the front desk, CNA's, Nurses, Therapist , even the Maintenance staff. My name Clint , working as Hospice Aide for my hospice patient that stay at whitney oaks. First thing that i noticed are the employees of the facility are very friendly, i always feel welcome the moment you step in. from the patient itself, receptionist, CNA, Nurses, Therapist , even the Maintenance staff. I've always liked this place while my mom has been staying here. Today they gave me something to write about even more. I want to personally thank Al Salas for his help getting my mom to her Thanksgiving dinner with her family. He went above and beyond in my eyes. All of her nurses and rest of staff are always so nice to her and it means a lot to know that she is in good hands here.

Thank you to all the wonderful workers at Whitney Oaks. The care you showed our friend Carol was so appreciated. Of course she didn't want to be there but you made it easier for her foot to heal. She said she would have rather been at home but we know she would not have gotten the professional care that she got at your facility. Lizzy and I highly recommend Whitney Oaks. It is very clean and professionally staffed.

When entering a skilled nursing facility, one has to remember that you will have a myriad of medical and mental debilitations that you will encounter. I stayed at Whitney Oaks for 6 weeks and I encountered almost all of the demographics, in regard to patients and patient care. From the beginning of my stay to the fruition of treatment, I encountered the most courteous, caring and compassionate staff from admissions, to janitorial. My mother is currently at this facility for physical therapy rehab and she is very pleases with her care. The only problem was the mix up with her medication. I also didn't quite like how they had no formal intake procedure there. Mom had been there for a few hours and was given a meal before they even knew her medical history. Mom is diabetic and has multiple food allergies. But so far she is happy. It would be nice if they had more phones though.
