MX6 hoses disintegrate don't buy, get a other product that is reliable loo The MX6 is not what you want if you have a reliable cleaner. The hoses are very fragile and the adhesive that keeps the hose from coming apart failed on all but two hoses at the end of season two. The system was stored in a pool box with ventilation and no UV penetration that would cause a chemical breakdown of the hoses. I even bought four additional hoses for spares and they failed too. pool cleaner could not get it to work i ask for help and they said to send back poor customer service.
It worked good while it worked. I expected more than a year. I purchased this in 2004. It worked great for a little over a year. Then it started needing replacement parts. No big deal. I started replacing parts here and there. Next thing I know i have replaced all of the parts and it still doesn't work. Shame on me.
Not worth the money! This sweeper worked well for one season. Constant clogging. Constant maintenance. Now into our second season it won’t sweep at all. Very disappointing for the price. The recommended fix is an expensive rebuild kit. This unit should have made it more than a season before needing to be rebuilt! My recommendation is to stay away.
Cleaner turns turtle and lies on its back. Just started using it today and have already had to turn it upright 4 or 5 times. It tries to climb a wall or even out of the deep end and it just flops over on it's back.Anybody else see this?
Poor quality and customer service Purchased three already. Each one broke faster then the prior one. Last one lasted only one month before completely failing. Vendor non-responsive. Switching brands.
High maintenance masquerading as a premium product I purchased the Zodiac MX6 expecting a premium pool cleaning experience given the price tag. For the first year, it performed exceptionally well, navigating the pool floor and walls with ease. Always thros a track Bought before and lasted a few years. Just bought this one and it throws it's track every time it runs.
No good for leaves. Not good in pools with leaves. The neighbors have a willow tree and this vacuum gets jammed all the time by the long leaves.
