Worked great for a month Worked great for a month. Had to clear the occasional leaf jam, etc. Now it has quit working. I've opened it up to look for obstructions. When I spin the propeller with my finger, there is A LOT of resistance. Can this thing have failing parts already, after one month!?! I've looked at Youtube and priced out parts, but I really feel that, this short into its service life, it should be covered under Warranty. I wouldn’t use this item I don’t normally write reviews but this time I am. I started to use and it kept tipping over. There was supposed to be a blue flute but when i opened the bag it wasn’t there. I tried it some more and when I checked on it, it wasn’t moving. I opened it up and didn’t see any build up. Thank you
Does not stay running This doesn’t work well at all. It will start off running fine, then about 10 minutes in, it just stops. Not sure if it is the tube connections or what, but somehow it seems to suck air into the filter system. I made sure to prime the tube and have tried adjusting the connector for the last month, but nothing seems to help. Unfortunately, I am past the return period or I would definitely ask for a refund!
Do not buy My previous one worked great, had for 4 years. Just bought new one and works for one day after pool goes on and that’s it. Followed instructions, nothing stuck inside. Not sure what changed but I would not recommend this pool cleaner.
Expensive junk pool sweeper Terrible product. It gets twisted in its own tubing. Tubing isbasically a plastic slinky with a thin silicone tube around it. It is so fragile that it will break after a months use or any time you move the tubing from the twisted the sweeper creates. You can't exchange to better tubing because it is to heavy for the motor to keep produc on its wheels.
Please dont do it, if you have anything in your pool that requires cleaning. How do I even explain this thing? I've had it since about October, and so long as you have nothing in your pool, I mean nothing, no leaves, no pollen, no hairs, it runs around great. If that isn't the case, it will stop. It's unequivocally the worst pool purchase I've ever made. Poor design cleaner I was very pleased how easy it to install the cleaner and it went right to work. We checked the flow rate and wound it to be 10 revolutions in 24 seconds by a stop watch. It has not climbed up the walls to clean and we have found that if there is any leafs or small debris in the poll that itt will be sucked into it and stop it from cleaning then it has to be taken out torn down cleaned out.My old Pentair Kreepy would suck up the leafs and go on , A little disappointing to say the least.
Works with Newer Suction Type Pools Only - Mine is an Older Pressure Type My pool requires a pressure type sweeper. This one is a newer suction type sweeper and would not work on my pool which is an older pool.I did not use or install the product and could not vouch for its quality.
Not a step doer If your pool has steps, it will get stuck until you move it around.
