It's a bit particular about the suction force, but once set, runs great with good surface area coverage. Issue I have is with the provided OEM hose. After 10 months of flawless service, hose broke apart. I tried emailing customer service at productsupport@fluidra.com, but my emails are undeliverable. 1.0 out of 5 stars Read the 1 star reviews! They are all real! I never write reviews! It has to be extraordinary for me to care enough to spend the time. The 1 star reviews say it all! Please believe them! The unit stays on its back and will not suction. The hose is terrible. You will get one season out of this product at best! The tread on one side is cracked and ready to break and 3 of the hose sections have come completely apart. The vacuum worked great for the first year but now there is not enough hose to reach the far side of the pool. We do not recommend buying this product.
2.0 out of 5 stars Stay away This vacuum did the job for 1 summer in AZ .. the hoses are bot Universal with other brands and the hoses break too easy and the replacement hoses don’t come supplied easily. Just get a good vacuum with a regular hose
2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money Zodiac cleaner is horrible, nothing but issues in the last couple of years with it. You have to buy the expensive and cheap made hose until I found the adapter for the normal pool hose. It eats and wears out tracks like the are going out of style. It gets stuck constantly, I do care how you adjust it, I've tried everything. Don't buy this, save your money and get a different cleaner.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother I got this because our Hayward got stolen from our pool and I was in desperate need of something moderately priced. Instead of getting a bargain I now get to pay for this crappy one AND a new Hayward! What a waste of $350! I would've sent it back but unfortunately, it stopped working thirty-ONE days after purchase just like clockwork! Now I'm stuck with a broken vacuum, a dirty pool, and way more money than I needed to spend being spent! Don't waste your money or time.
2.0 out of 5 stars The hose is falling apart after only 1 year The interlocking hose seemed like a good idea, but it's not holding up- I've had to replace 4 sections so far as each has been falling apart.
