2.0 out of 5 stars Stopped working after 11 months Worked well for 10 months. Now it seizes after a few seconds of running. I tried replacing the most obvious parts like the engine assembly and treads, but it's still broken. I would not buy this again.
2.0 out of 5 stars Better than the mx8 but..... This is Zodiac's version of a printer you can buy cheap these days. You get the printer for a very reasonable cost but the ink will "kill" you. You can get the vacuum head relatively inexpensively, the problem is that the hoses last about 4 to 6 months before they deteriorate in the sunlight and chemistry of the swimming pools. 1.0 out of 5 stars Dead in less than 3 months Purchased MX8 and am very familiar with pool equipment and life expectancy. At about 3 months, all the hoses are unraveling and cracking. This is clearly an issue with the product not being made well vs ones you buy at an actual retail store. Not sure if these are recalls or didn't pass quality tests, but these hoses should last at least 2 years, maybe one breaking or cracking but not all of them. As shown in the video, it gets stuck at least 5 or 6 times a day at the edge of the step, and I need to manually restore it 5 or 6 times a day. And it often stops at a place above the water surface to suck air for up to a minute. 2.0 out of 5 stars Hoses Suck - Vacuum good The vacuum itself works great. Very mobile, climbs the walls, however the hose sections are horrible. Multiple sections broke in half after 6 months. Costly replacement pieces. If you purchase this then I recommend purchasing an adapter so you can use traditional twist hoses. The Hayward brand hoses work great.

2.0 out of 5 stars Keep an eye on the hose Just shy of the 6th month for owning this cleaner. In the past 3 days we’ve lost 8 of the ten sections of hose. After noticing that it wasn’t working I did an inspection. Seeing that one section of hose was split. We tested all the other sections. All but 2 failed. They need to upgrade the hose…vacuum gets a 9 out 10 . Hose gets a 2. Just because it worked great for 5 1/2 months.. then replacement were ordered
