Complete garbage I read the negative reviews, thinking these people just didn't know how to adjust their suction. Unfortunately, I was wrong.. This may be a QC issue, but no level of suction will keep this operating correctly for more than 5 minutes. It appears the gears are faulty and the 'wheels' slip. I would love to return for a refund, but it took more than 30 days of fiddling to convince myself that it was impossible to adjust in a way that would consistently work.
Hoses are designed to fail in 18 months This is my first and only Amazon review. I love the cleaner but am livid that the hoses have all started to break apart 18 months after purchase. Since other hoses I've had have lasted year and years, I have to conclude that these are designed to fail so that they can make more money on replacement hoses. Seven hoses at $20 to $25 each, you're looking to spend another $140 every other year, and don't forget all the plastic waste headed for the landfill.
Worked well for the first year, but 3 hoses have broken so far the 2nd year. Hoses are $20-30 each to replace.
Hose poor quality Only issue with this vacuum it’s the hose.Bought in 2020 If you want a good long term product, this is NOT it. Vacuum suction good and easy to assemble, good value for your money.
After 1 year... Worked to our satisfaction, but it is not an exceptional product. After one year... The hoses have deteriorated and have split and "unwound". Incredibly disappointing. We had higher expectations. I would not recommend.
Wouldn't buy it again, sorry. The unit itself works well but is very temperamental about getting stuck. Even tiny leaves get stuck in the fins of the unit causing it to stop frequently. We've had ours for just over a year and have had to replace all of the hose twice already. Unless you're budgeting hundreds of dollars per year to replace the hose alone, it's not worth it.
Vacuum dud I purchased this vacuum because of the online reviews. Setting it up and getting the thing to work as promoted was a joke as some had warned of in the reviews. After 3 days of hoping for the best, I packaged it back up and returned it. Don't waste your time.
The hose will rot in 6 months, then $25/section 8 sections It sucked great, at first, once i figured out the right volume of water to spin the wheels at the right speed. inline debris canister is convenient, but the hose sections get soft in the sun and spiral when the split. all but 2 of my hoses broken in the same week, total cost of hose replacement $200. if I knew the maint coat of this this was $400 annually, I would have got a nicer pool cleaner from the start
If you want to buy a toy pool cleaner..go for it... Compete waste of money and Seller is even more awfull...
