I have been a good customer to them for a couple years. I sent in double payment thanks to my bank messing up. This company already received that money, and do not agree to provide it back to me. I have sent documents they have requested and I'm still getting the runaround.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Sometimes people fall on hard times. I ended up getting a payment behind. They suspended my ability to pay online or over the phone. The account managers who always get on the phone are extremely rude and talk down to you like you are 5 years old. I hate this company. They talk over you when you try to speak, they call you every single day, multiple times a day. Just a completely rude and disrespectful company. If you are thinking about using them, don't. Almost $14k was paid to appease them and stop foreclosure. They called to say they received the cashiers check in the mail and confirmed it was the correct amount. They called later and said that another $240 was posted AFTER I received the first phone call for “legal fees”. When I told them I had gotten the call that morning confirming the amount on the account, they said “sorry but it was subject to change”. If I could give a half of a star or quarter star it would fit this place a lot better! Customer service is a joke, there head employees of account management is a joke, super disrespectful and unprofessional! They don’t care about customer service at all! They only want your money and how fast you can give it to them! If you give them grief back or try to resolve anything with them, they won’t listen and say nope can’t help you… or they talk over you like you are nothing! 21st Mortgage is sending harassing debt collection calls to property owners in the Asheville/Arden, NC, area after the devastation of Hurricane Helene. I called and asked why are they harassing people who had lost everything. I was met with laughter, racial slurs, and a very much lack of empathy towards their customers affected by the devastation. Terrible customer service. Was speaking to someone about getting caught up on my account, they brought on their manager and upon speaking with him he was very rude and unprofessional and hung up the phone on me. Will be trying to get my loan moved to else where. Also, terrible interest rates

I was given in accurate information about my balance and now being bullied about a past due account in which the company's website did not process my payments as regular payments as the website states. It applied my payments as principal payments and 21st mortgage refused to take responsibility for their cheap software.
