    Horrible customer service IF you can reach someone. Email responses to questions are automated "bots" - they have to be because their answers make no sense. User interface is not intuitive - extremely confusing - and don't forget to hit the tiny "save" box at the bottom of every screen or you'll lose your changes. If my IT guy didn't communicate with them so I don't have to, I would have changed long ago.

    The phone system does not work...For months I have been trying to get this ststem to work with our IT people...IT has NEVER worked right NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!. I ordered the system on the phone and was assured by the sales rep that it was an "EASY" set up. When the phones came in our ITperson set the up and they have NEVER worked right for months.     "URL Call is Disabled" Been 4 months. This thing just doesn't work. Dropped calls. Business can not function because 8X8 phones just doesn't work.

    customer since 2013 and they just cancelled my fax line, twice. called once sent a bunch of time getting it reinstated (12/2019), found out it was cancelled again on 1/20/2020. after spending well over an hour on the phone, tech. support, cancellation, finally transferred to sales. Where the tell me they no longer offer the product i had (reason for cancellation) and i had to buy another product at double the cost and double the market, in order to preserve my fax number of 20 some years. no notice of cancellation, just ... read more

    Terrible billing slap you with huge cancellations and mini fine print auto renews one service

    Terrible billing practices - read the fine print and make sure you see that this contract autorenews every year so if you have someone leave the company who signed it and you change providers you will be out $1,500 without any service. Brutal - go with one of the others plenty out there. I’ve switched to Nextiva and am happy.

    After 5 weeks I am still not able to get any service for my phones. Hours of waiting on hold and numerous emails and I still not get any assistance. They took my money and have disappeared. Do not believe their salespeople! They lie to get the sale and hand you over to an endless network of overseas customer service agents who do nothing to help.

    We have had 8x8 for several years. We finally got so frustrated with the horrible support and even billing us for lines we did not have and cancelled service. Now we are fighting with them over ridiculous termination fees. We have an email stating the fees are one thing and now they are trying to make it hundreds more. I would stay as far away from 8x8 as humanly possible.

    This is the WORST phone company I have ever used!!! For a cloud based it should be able to handle a call queue properly with multiple lines. I worked for 2 years to get it to work right then when I switched they charged me a cancelation fee. I asked to speak to a manager to show nothing would work and no one would call me!!! Then their response is we only waive the cancelation fee for bankruptcy!!! HORRRIBLE
