Just a terrible experience. I signed up with the service and they never told me that a 415 number wasn't available. So I canceled the service the same day. However, they still charged me $7.28 for my cc. 3 weeks later, they inform me the refund has been denied even though I canceled within my 30-day trial period. Just avoid this company at all costs. They are just terrible to deal with and make getting a refund such a long and arduous process, for no reason.

The worst experienced I have ever had with ah VOIP business. After canceling in January I was billed through November and then had to fight for a return. I've never seen a business so siloed. Work with any business but this one.

Service has declined significantly. I used 8x8 for years to power a 50+ extension business spread across multiple states, and I recently sold the business. Reached out to 8x8 twice in the past two weeks via their "Contact Sales" form to initiate service for a new business and received absolutely no response. Perhaps that's because I chose "1-9" when the form asked for # of employees. Worst customer service experience. I have waited for three days to have someone help me with implementation and nothing. This company seems to have a department for everything and when you call them you have to be prepared to be on a call for over 1hr and be transfer over 5-10 times. There is no ownership...Tomorrow I will be porting my number to another company. I really don't understand how they are getting all those good reviews...99.9% look fake.

I am extremely disappointed with the way 8x8 functions as a corporation. You have no ethics and force customers to contracts they have never signed or agreed to. There is no sales support and we are tossed from sales to billing to cancellation when we want to exit from your services. You conference calling feature is a total failure and we have always had to use alternate resources each time we schedule a call

Had three lines for over 8 years. Found a much more cost effective option using T-Mobile phones and T-Mobile DIGITS system. When I tried to cancel 8X8 phone system they wanted to charge me $475 and 30 days more service that I did not want. After complaining to management they lowered the cancellation charges to one more month of unwanted service and $175. penalty fee, "AFTER 8 YEARS." Pretty lousy treatment for a long time customer. We are a medium size company with a user base of 600 employees. From day 1 starting with our implantation we have had nothing but problems with 8x8, have to give credit to sales team they did have smooth presentation, but that is the only positive part we have experienced. Nothing works - we've spent hours and hours trying to get help. The crappiest off shore support - and now we have an office of 60 users that we're going to have to revert back to another provider. Customer service is terrible and the features they promise you don't work.
