We have moved providers after a long and very involved dispute with 8x8. From the start, the service was somewhat unrealiable - call quality not always good, dropped calls etc. We discovered one HUGE issue fairly early on - the prohibitive cost and difficulty of getting international dial-in numbers for the conferencing facility. Like the app. Being able to get phone call or send a quick text is great. What I do not like is the phone cycling all day. I have talked to others that have 8x8 and the same phone. They say their phones do not do that. When I called 8x8 I was told that is normal. You need different phones. gopro@usa.com
My bill has jumped almost 50% over the last year. We have NO outgoing calls and the cost is more than any landline services offered. I deal with an occasional garbled call which is understandable with VOIP but we will not pay more to get less.

We are leaving 8x8 because the UX is so poor. Calls are dropped or faulty (one party cannot hear). obtaining international dial in numbers for conferencing is like pulling teeth. There is always another charge, and another cost and an upgrade to your licence to do anything. The customer service is poor - promised calls do not happen, disruption is huge when it was apparently going to be 'no disruption at all'. We have now been 6 weeks with no conferencing facility, due to a mistake that 8x8 made. Hence we are moving on...
I do not reccomend this service for small businesses. Large office, maybe ok???

Navigating online to change or forward phone answering is cumbersome on desktop computer and the IOS App is totally useless. App says a certain person has the calls when in fact it's incorrect. So we have to log onto 8x8 online from a desktop and drill around until we can change the forwarding of calls. Not friendly at all.
I’ve tried to call several times to talk to someone about the 8x8 app and it took a week to get a hold of someone
