This is by far the worst company to do business with. I was told by one sales associate that if you went out of business that you would not have to pay an early termination fee, wrong! Pricing is different each month I get charged and tech support is horrible. The site is not even user friendly. They also renew your contract each year without your discretion and then make you give 30 days to terminate.
Impossible to get through to a representative within a reasonable amount of time.
I have been trying to contact 8x8 Customer Service to cancel my account and every time I try to call to talk to someone, I have been on hold for over an hour. Tried to cancel service. Called and they opened case. No one ever called back. Left note on line via case asking for reaponse. No one responded.
We have used 8x8 for many years. We purchased another company that already had a phone system and decided to use the other system. I have been trying to cancel my 8x8 account now for over 6 weeks. This past week/fiasco I called and was on the phone for over an hour only to be told that no one was in that could help me and they would call me back in 24-48 hours. 7 days goes by with no call so I call back. Network settings are a continuous issue. Mobile app is poor and unstable. Time spent on 8x8 is excessive and inefficient.
We’ve been a small business customer for about 9 months now. We have 3 sites in different parts of the country and about 50 employees. The phone service itself is of good quality when it works. When it doesn’t work it’s a hellish gauntlet of having to deal with 8x8’s support group. This service came highly recommended and I do believe you strive to create a positive customer experience, but the various issues which have arisen have severely limited our enjoyment of the service. Primarily, our concerns are a.) repeated service interruptions, when our broadband is still operational and b.) the various features like ring groups not agreeing with other customized features. We want to like 8x8 and hopefully the issues can be resolved.
