No help from customer service Poor clunky design to website , extremely poor. Condescending and nasty customer service agents— takes hour And hours of sitting on hold or cycling Through different agents until find one that is Competent .
Very poor customer service
The salesman, Robin Cortez, was not very knowledgeable about how the system operates and if it would even work with the type of internet we have. He should have never sold the system to me. If he was properly trained he wouldn't have and it would have saved everyone's time. While on the phone with him, in the midst of trying to correct a problem that he caused, he was very unprofessional and actually put me on hold to take a personal phone call from his wife. Stay away. They will promise you the world, have a very friendly sales staff. Once you are with them, you do not matter at all. Horrible service an, after several attempts, I have yet to be able to get tech support for my non-working fax line. We also received a phone with a brken handset, which they said they would replace. Instead they send a new power cord and expect me to pay to return it before I get the handset.

Vet the businesses that use your app. I am tired of receiving scam calls from fake business that now have a platform to mimic any company they choose.

After experiencing issues with "ghost" calls I tried to get tech support to assist. I could never get resolution and 8X8 would not cancel my contract without charging a penalty even though the phone system was not functional. very dissatisfied.

We had been customers since 2011, and found a lower VOIP tied in to our internet. When we went to cancel 8x8, we were told we had to pay over a $500 penalty to cancel "early". Said we had a "promotional" rate that renewed yearly. We have NEVER received an annual renewal email stating that we had a "promotional" rate we would be locked into for the next 12 months. It was a horrible company. I was cheating out of money. At the time of cancellation the told me i didn't owe anything and then the next came they took funds out of my account saying i owe the back pay. I think ths company is a scam to get money because there losing money in the stock market. Then also told them the money had already been taking out of my account before. So please don't set yourself or your business up to be scam by a legal.
I requested a quote from their website at the end of August and a couple of times in September without a response. I finally filled in an info form and was contacted by a manager on September 14th. He promised an urgent reply from sales. The sales person finally got in touch with me a week later. He asked to schedule a call with me and then didn't show up for it. I told him it's fine - I just want to get set up ASAP and I'm ready with my CC info. That was two weeks ago... still waiting to even get a quote, much less start us... read more
