We had been using another Company to host our VOIP services for several years. Aside from the constant service outages, we could never get answers as to how long the service would be down, the technical help was useless and the phones that they sold us for the system we terrible and they refused to swap them. Their website was useless and impossible to navigate. On top of it all, the charges were extremely high and they kept trying to lock us in to long term Contracts to save only a few dollars!!! We are a small company that tried many free conference call services to save cost but suffered with poor connections and echoing. Ultimately we stumbled upon the service already included with our 8x8 service and have been utilizing it ever since with far belter connections/reception.

NOTHING!!!!! It has been a major step backwards in our phone service. There are too many restrictions, it is almost impossible for current customers to figure out how to get ahold of someone on an extension. They just hang up. I've even been frustrated trying to call my office from the field. Internet based is not good if you don't have strong internet and we don't at this location. The fact that we can use this system virtually and we don't have to purchase expensive phones - as well as utilize the phones we currently have. If I have to telecommute, I have my trusty phone app - I am never out of pocket for my new associates and can answer questions on the fly.
As a small law firm, we carefully watch our monthly overhead costs. Telephone costs were always a significant expense and they were on the rise. Our phone carrier was unresponsive to our concerns.
