Cape Fear Literacy Council is a non-profit organization in Wilmington, NC. Each year, we help about 500 adults improve their reading, writing, math, and English language skills. Last fall we expanded into a 2-building campus so we can serve more adult learners. We changed to the 8x8 phone system so that we call all still be on the same phone system - it's so important for us to able to stay in touch across two buildings.
I love that I can see who's call I missed and be able to call them right back and have them surprised, especially if they didn't leave a message. That your able to get the calls on your cell phone when your not in the office
Great Support Team: When I started at this company I was told to call 8x8 Support for help with setting up my phone line and conference line. The support team was great, within a few minutes my new IP phone was fully functional and my conference line was set-up. The support team member assisting me was extremely pleasant and efficient, she called me on the phone to test it provided me with some basic training and provided me with my conference line and followed-up with an e-mail communication instantly. When the economy went to hell in a hand basket it was decided our business could be run from remote locations rather than having the expense of an office. The problem was one of communication. I called my "hard wire" phone consultant thinking I would have to somehow use the phone equipment from my office to connect employees. He suggested VOIP.
