    It was one of the worst days phone's dead, and had to touch base with my clients for an urgent issue related to production services down , and then comes 8x8 browser version to my aid. It was a total life savior for me, I could connect and get in touch with my superiors and clients and save the day. I might have been termed as the Hero for the day, but it was indeed 8xx

    When the economy went to hell in a hand basket it was decided our business could be run from remote locations rather than having the expense of an office. The problem was one of communication. I called my "hard wire" phone consultant thinking I would have to somehow use the phone equipment from my office to connect employees. He suggested VOIP.     Don't use their tech support. When you can not do your job because their system is not working they give you to one level and then they pass it to Tier 2 and then Knock or whatever they call it and they can't fix anything unless it is within 3 - 5 business days. Your business can go out of business with this kind of tech support. Mine gets fixed one day and then goes down the next and it wasn't fixed right the first time they start all over again and another 3 - 5 business days.     We do not love it at all. It has been a headache from day one. We did not get our area phone numbers. The caller id states Tekamah, NE and should have been Tecumseh, NE our customers are wondering why they are getting calls from another town. The fax machines do not work. We get complaints all the time. Calls are dropped. Can't answer the phone. Customer service is awful, we spend hours on the phone trying to fix it but it doesn't get fixed.

    I love NOTHING about it. It works over my office PC only. Does not work in sending calls to my Android device; and when installed eats battery life like crazy.

    What I love most about this system is the group voicemail capability. On our old system, only one person received after hours messages. If that individual was not in that day, we had to call them and get their password to access the messages. With 8x8, the messages come across all phones and anyone can access them.     Here at Express Employment Professionals in Beavercreek, Ohio, I love it for being fast and efficient. I love how we can see our record history for faxes sent and received. It is very easy to search for anyone calling to inquire about a sent or received fax.     The system works okay overall. My issue is with the customer service. You are able to contact someone VERY easily up until your purchase is made. After that, good luck. The only way to talk to someone is via the chat feature (which "mysteriously" disconnects at convenient times) or you can try calling the toll-free number (good luck getting your issue resolved there).
