8x8 allows iManage to always be connected. With the iOS and desktop client apps, I never miss a call. With our previous desk phones, I'd return time and time again to the blinking red light of voicemail, which is never a good customer experience.

We are a small non-profit helping low income residents. We started out using home phones. When we ran ads with two home numbers, they usually only called the second number when the first was busy. With 8x8, we now have 4 phones that all ring at once in 4 different homes. We no longer have to take calls at 6:30 in the morning or at 10:15 at night. There are no phones ringing on the weekends either; voicemail handles that for us. All of this and more came at a price we can afford.
What matters the most is an actual person picking up on the other end. Being able use this technology to virtually see and hear more than just one person at work and while your on go.
I'll never forget the time the communications in the entire building went out during a terrible storm here in New Orleans (as you know we get these types of storms frequently). I'm not a long time 8X8 user, however in the time I have been using 8X8, I love it. First, I've completely removed the hard "landline" type phone from my office. I now use the 8X8 app on my Iphone and can do everything and more (mobile) that I could do from my office, allowing me to be more productive. Conference calling is no longer a scramble, or failed three way calling attempt. We are consistently entrusted to hold important conference calls because of the reliability and ease of our service. Additionally, internal communications are timesaving now that we can easily do it from our desk and quicker than e-mail.
I was using a number forwarder and an answering service, but half the time, the calls were not being answered and customers were going elsewhere. Now, with 8x8, all my calls go where they are supposed to and customers get the service they want and deserve!
