What we love most about 8x8 is that i do not have to be at my desk to pick up a call from my laptop. It goes where my laptop goes and it dont stop there...i use the follow me to my mobile number so it rings over to my mobile as well, if I am not near my laptop I can still take the call. 8x8 is an awesome product! 8x8 service saved me from total failure. Why?? Because we had put together a system that works with Santa Claus's problems. Namely, Santa is hearing impaired. VA supplies with Hearing Aids with bluetooth, top of the line. They also supply me with an ICOM which makes the sound from my IPhone go directly to my hearing aids via Bluetooth. I would give 0 stars if I could. When making a call you can't switch between records. If you start a call on one record and move to another, the call was logged to the first one opened. For the past week, calls are not logging at all so you have to manually log the call in Salesforce. Too many bugs.

Awful product with no support!!!
It's simple; I did my research on the top 10 VOIP's and narrowed it down to 8x8 and Nextiva based input form others. Because Nextiva was strongly recommended by a trusted source I gave them a shot. After a few rounds of poor customer service and technical support I pulled the plug and went with 8x8. I never looked back; the sales, customer service, and technical support are all first in class and superior to the competition! As i'm typing this I am sitting in one of my branch offices with my Polycom phone sitting right next to me. I have been able to seamlessly move from one office to the next (4 so far not including my home office) without any disruption. Even if i dont want to bring my Polycom I just login on my iPad and i'm all set.
Our office recently switched to 8X8 System. It is amazing and I get to stay contacted with my clients whether or not I'm in the office. I was on my way back to the office one morning after an appointment and my cell phone rang. I am used to clients calling me on my cellphone but when I looked at the screen I saw the 8X8 screen open up. I answered the call and was surprised that the client had dialed my work number and I was able to transfer the call to my desk phone from my cell phone once I arrived at the office.
