We are a non profit organization in Stanislaus County in the central valley in California and new to 8x8. There are several reasons why 8x8 is an outstanding VOIP provider. The best feature is the ability for employees that are working remotely to have the same access as sitting in their office.
I've been using 8x8 since 2008. In my opinion, it's currently the best public network-based VoIP provider in the country. Up-time, call quality, U.S.-based customer service (highly underrated aspect) and functionality have all been outstanding.
8x8 has been hugely important for my work in so many ways. It allows me to keep in touch more easily with my co-workers, through both IM and the VOIP. It makes conducting phone surveys with individuals across the country easier. Overall, it's really revolutionized how I keep in touch with people, both internal and external, while at work.
Our office runs very smoothly with our new 8x8 service. It is very nice to be able to check voicemails from your email. We also like the online features of tracking phone calls. We are so happy we switched from landline to VOiP.
First and foremost...the service WORKS! we have used 5 other hosted voip providers over the past 10 years and 8x8 has been our favorite, by far. We love the unified communications with virtual office and the ability to take the application mobile. we regularly use the conferencing and chat features.
