I just recently was hired by a business that uses 8x8. It is a great tool. I feel like I can be away from my desk but still be connected to my office and my clients.
We moved away from a traditional PBX system to 8x8 about 1-1/2 years ago, and never regretted the move. Our 9 call center agents are extremely busy handling about 10-15,000 calls a month. We love everything about 8x8 from being able to assign our customer calls to specific agents for better customer service to their great support department when we have questions or problems. We had good training on the system, which makes it easy to manage and change our call center and phones ourselves as our business changes.
We do business all over the world. Being able to travel and make local calls or check voice mail with the click of a button is a true blessing!!
The affordability versus the local phone company, the flexibility of multiple lines, option to conference call to large groups in my plan and having it all at my fingertips via the app. I was hesitant to switch to VOIP but now recommend it and 8x8 to my colleagues and friends with small businesses.
We are a 100% telecommuting company - but that doesn't remove the need for us to be connected to both clients and each other. 8x8 services are super easy, reliable, and are available whereever I am, by laptop or phone so my focus is implementing with my clients, what they have told me is important to them, rather than troubleshooting Financial Spyglass(R)'s "fintech" system! We recently switched phone service and are so happy with 8x8 Cloud Communications. I will definitely recommend them to other companies within my building.
