I own a company that has been a loyal 8x8 customer for 5+ years with up to $750 per month in business to this company. Today I discovered that 4 yrs ago our sales rep added a feature to one of our lines junior employee's lines without our knowledge with a recurring charge of $12.99/mo. While we have NEVER used or activated the feature (because we didn't order it and didn't know it existed), 8x8 has charged us the recurring fee every month for several years. 8x8 has been billing us until today 4/5/18 for a fax line we cancelled on 9/25/15. They claim we never told them to cancel it however it was ported from another service provider on 9/25/15. Their solution was a $23.00 refund when it should've been well over $700.00. Bad service all around and i am contacting the FCC.
Worst Service I Have Ever Experience
A very mixed bag. The ability to plug the phone into any working ethernet outlet is nice. The cost is reasonable. The phone directory takes several minutes to display which makes it a useless feature. In large part the phone service has been available when needed. The rewards program is a bit shaky; applying for the rewards isn't always possible, no matter what the salesman tells you - and of course the answer is different after you've signed up. I cancelled my account in August 2017. They continued to try to charge my card. I had to file a dispute with PayPal and it was resolved in my favor 10/17/2017. They charged my card again in Feb 2018. I called customer service they said that I didn't cancel my account properly and wouldn't issue a refund. As a disabled veteran I am on a very limited budget. I was totally disgusted by the way this GARBAGE company treats people.

I went to 8X8 for integration into my salesforce CRM. 3 months later and its still not done. This company has the worst customer service in history. The support people contact you. Then disappear and don't resolve your issue. Its the worst. My numbers haven't ported I've logged multiple cases they contact me take info and disappear. The same with the salesforce integration. This has been a terrible experience and a waste of my time and money.
