We contacted 8x8 when we were looking for a VoIP. We used to have AT&T, which is about the same, but 8x8 is a lot cheaper. I use the phone for inbound, mostly, and if ever I had a problem, they're right there on it and get it solved. It's a good phone service.

8x8 is our first VoIP system and we’ve been with them for 10 years now. We have many extensions in which some are for inbound-outbound sales, while others are for operations. We’re a construction company so we might have mobile offices and 8x8 has been a great help, as far as being able to take our phones and put them wherever these mobile offices be situated is concerned. We used the standard system (phone lines and PBX, etc) before and then we moved to a VoIP system. The advantage we have with 8x8 is the user can be working anywhere. That's a very good tool for me on my end because I'm the one supporting the call center. I'm usually the one that set it up and troubleshoot it and working straight with 8x8 fellows with support all the time. I'm working now with Neda and she has been a great person. My experience with 8x8 VOIP phones has been extraordinary beginning with my very first contact five years ago through my current day today use. In the five plus years of use ,the system has never been down and the few minor issues have been promptly and easily resolved by support. I live in rural Alberta, Canada and we run a family operated plumbing company. It was suggested to me that a VOIP phone might work for us. 8x8 was recommended but I should have done my research first! On July 1, 2015, I inquired about their Voip phone. We had been using another Company to host our VOIP services for several years. Aside from the constant service outages, we could never get answers as to how long the service would be down, the technical help was useless and the phones that they sold us for the system we terrible and they refused to swap them. Their website was useless and impossible to navigate. On top of it all, the charges were extremely high and they kept trying to lock us in to long term Contracts to save only a few dollars!!! I love the face that I can answer my business line anywhere I take my VOIP phone with me, plus if I need to be mobile, I can use the 8X8 app on my iPhone and answer business calls without my customers knowing that I am not in the office. This seamless solution creates the illusion that I am in my office and always available to my customers which makes them very happy.
