My alarm panel wend dead over the weekend. I called AAA Smart Home Monday and a tech tried to walk me through re-setting the panel. We scheduled a tech, Kevin, between 10-12 Wednesday. Kevin and Jack arrived promptly at 10 am and informed the panel was faulty and they would replace it. In addition they found several of my alarm sensors faulty and replaced those as well and the power source to my panel was fried. They re-routed the power source. Sadly, the tech people are doing a fair job. However, customer service is nearly useless. No one seems to be able to offer any assistance. We upgraded the system today and we started having problems immediately. False alarms, no emergency signal and no service was offered as everyone had gone home and no one can do anything. These people cannot service their own alarms. No one is able to help.

I was a customer going on thirteen years. Owners have changed a couple times. Recent ownership contacted me about upgrading my system. I initially declined stating I planned on canceling monitoring and installing a self-monitoring system. I was told they could install equipment that I could later self-monitor after paying off equipment in full. Beware of false quotes from this company. I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my system and lower my monthly monitoring charges by around $20 per month. Instead I got some cock and bull story about a new rate which is about $10 more per month than I was quoted. I wasn't aware of this rate increase until after the installation was complete. In fact with all the additional equipment they sold me I am now paying $34 per month more than I was before this marvelous upgrade. Not worth it. Just an addition to my original review. First I would like to say I have used Safegard security for 18 years. Somewhere along the way A3 bought them out. And this is where the story begins. Safe guard was awesome responsive and amazing. A3 is horrible. If you want to stay on hold never get a call back and be looped on there answering machine. I suggest this is the right place. Tarek completed an excellent installation at my residence. He showed up promptly on time and thoroughly walked me through the installation process. He also answered all my questions and made recommendations for other products when I asked. After the installation which took all day Tarek thoroughly walked me through on how to use the system. Highly recommend A3 home security and installation by Tarek who was awesome.

I usually don't leave negative reviews but after reading other reviewers having similar issues as I have experienced, I have to share my dissatisfaction with AAA Smart Home. I made a service call and set up an appointment back in October 2021 (4 months ago). My system had stopped communicating and they couldn't fix it over the phone. Now that I reported a more detailed review I thought it's time to update as things progressed: 1. Honesty : I give A3 smart homes less than one at the conclusion of our installation I signed technician tablet and when it was sent to my email as PDF FORMAT for my records the contract mysteriously changed to us that showed lack of honesty and integrity and even though the company through its own investigation to my knowledge admitted to the mistake but also inadvertently admitted in the companies responses to these reviews but... read more
