Had A3 Smarthome install alarm system in new home. Kei Harris, the technician, spent nearly 10 hours getting the system set and ready to use. It was a very big job! He was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable about the system. He exercised patience walking us through the use of the system. It's important to note, Kei did this on a holiday weekend (Memorial Day) and was not able to take a lunch break. From day one this company has been an issue. We bought a home with their system already installed so we were stuck with them. We needed additional coverage and some specialized equipment and were assured they could handle our requests. The salesperson completely mislead us on what they could and could not do and our first tech 100% didn't set up our system correctly. Subsequent visits have been equally disappointing with exception of one tech that seemed to care about his work product. I am constantly getting sent docus... read more

First time homeowner realizing after 3 years of my AAA smart home security systm and despite the technician being super nice that the main driveway camera never captured any sidewalk traffic! Always wondered why the camera never picked up the mail delivery to a mailbox which is in straight shot of the driveway camera. 3k worth of equipment and 80 bucks a month basically down the drain if you ask me...

We take your feedback seriously about the camera positioning. Please contact us at (800) 669-7779 and select option 6 for technical support to discuss optimizing your system coverage. Most techs will not set cameras to watch the sidewalks because of clip volume. That angle tends to pick up everything driving on the street, not to mention every person walking by (Dogs, kids, garbage men). We certainly will help you make adjustments though.

They make it impossible for you to get out of contract. I had service for 9 days. I made several phone calls trying to figure out the system (thinking it was user error). Apparently there is a 5 day cancellation timeframe that nobody told me about. I could cancel but I was still going to be responsible for the equipment that was wired into my home. The system does not work for me and my expectations. I definitely recommend staying with RING cameras. I was under the impression that I was getting an upgraded version of RING. I... read more
