Waited for one hour for mothers day, and then the order was wrong. We have are at Alexander’s many times and it has not been like this. Manager did not come out and apologize. We will not be going back. There are many other good restaraunt s on Hilton head

So, we were excited to try this restaurant after dinning in multiple restaurants on the island. This one was very disappointing. When we got there we waited in bar for our table. The receptionist was very nice, but the bar had two bartenders that appeared to be very unhappy. It took awhile to get a drink, the bartender seemed pissed off. Mother's Day so assume 'off', once seated waited a full hour for first course. First time, but way off thier game from reviews.
Mother’s Day brunch was a bust. Made a reservation for the special 3-course prix fixe Mother’s Day brunch to celebrate my 89 year old Mother-in-Law. I understand they are short staffed (who isn’t!). Our party of 5 was patient but service was super slow (I know…it’s a holiday!) We did get the drinks we ordered . 3 of our 5 family members ordered the prime rib entree. Service or lack there of from David C. was appalling- never asked how our starters were- my soup was cool. After over an hour I asked about our mains and server said “ he did not make the food” this man had no clue as to what he should be doing to look after his guests. Took 90 minutes for mains to arrive. Food was good but restaurant was freezing cold and other tables were like ours left sitting for over an hour.
