Food was less than mediocre. 3 at table ordered from early dining menu. It was very rushed. Entree came before starters finished. Food was not tasty, very disappointing. The one meal on regular dining menu was filet and had no taste, no seasoning. Side of mashed sweet potatoes was blah also. Was very disappointed overall as had not been here in long time. Won’t be back anytime soon if ever. Husband said worst meal he has had in years on Hilton head.

This place came on a recommendation from an older British Real Estate agent. Needless to say, we should have known since Brits are not known for their culinary tastes. He did travel around the world as a youth so we weren't sure things went downhill based upon COVID (everyone's excuse now). The service was fair, the oysters were tiny. The water on HH has a peculiar unpleasant taste even with lime or lemon. We ordered the fish of the day which was blah. The pea sauce didn't go with the meal. Bartender was arrogant and obviously not concerned about costs. Waitress continued to ask if we were ready to order as we were catching up with our friends and asked twice for extra time. While I appreciate her attention she may need a bit of training. Food was awful and not prepared well. Schnitzel was poorly prepared, flounder was mushy in texture and the special they offered with scallops and fish was extremely salty and not edible. For a dinner that was over $300 this was a hot mess! We won't be back-

We were so disappointed with our visit this time to Alexander’s. Usually our favourite restaurant. It was our first time out dining since Covid. I had the fish special which made me so ill for the next 24 hours. We did report it to the manager who whilst being very nice tried to blame it on what I had for lunch. Really. I only had a cereal for a very early lunch / breakfast so I could enjoy my dinner
