Never, ever book this company for a move. On April 16th, I booked the move with Amanda who was extremely friendly and courteous. This is the e-mail I received. This company's incompetent men picked up my pristine, brand new refrigerator and delivered a deeply gouged, scratched and ripped version to my door; and, they lied to my elderly parents that " it was like that when we picked it up." The local office was flippant about the damage, and the main office in Texas was as about as helpful as a dead houseplant. It took 8 hours to move me out of a two bedroom 1200 sq ft. apartment. Apparently the movers get paid by the hour, and not the job, so I can see why they dragged their feet. I was asked to pay midway through unloading the truck, when I asked to wait to the end, they said that wasn't their policy. I was told I paid up until 2:15pm but at 3:15pm, when they finished, I got slapped with an extra hour on top of taxes; fuel charge, etc. I was charged $1500 and the only big furniture was two beds, a wall unit, dining room table... read more

What a sketchy moving company. I can't say really anything positive about this move other than one of the guys was really nice and helpful. Other than that l, it was awful and the people who work in the office at All My Sons are extremely unprofessional and employ the worst business practices I have come into contact with. When my move started, 15 minutes late, I commented that I thought I had agreed to 3 guys, not 2, so checked my contract and confirmed that I was paying a rate for 3 people. I was not going to post anything about this horrific experience i had with ALL \MY SONS MOVING COMPANY, however when i finally found a home after a few months with the so called moving professional crew from all my sons , BRIEFLY well the men threw all my belonging on top of one another. broken glasses , vases expensive flat screen tvs , 3 to be exact ! broken custom lacrosse stick,, dressers that were in my family and they were collectibles. i will post my photos. ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY IN STRATFORD CT ARE THIEVES. I don't recommend no one to use this company. The movers are lazy, taking cigarette breaks and walking slow, they also damaged my furnitures. The manager mike will give you a price then before they are about to finish unloading the truck they will triple the price. If you don't pay they will keep your stuff hostage and add more to your bill. The managers are very disrespectful, they don't know anything about management. We moved from Connecticut to Pennsylvania on Dec. 13, 2017. The company charged a premium for the move. The estimate on the phone was $5000, and after the estimator saw what we had, he told us it would be $5700. I told him that we would discard more books and furniture before the move. Well, the loading took two hours less than the guy's estimate, but the final cost was over $6000. I would NOT recommend EVER using this company to move. I felt completely taken advantage of and mislead throughout the whole moving experience from "All My Sons." We moved a one bed room apartment 7 minutes up the road and were quoted a price for 2 hours moving and one hour travel time which at first seemed reasonable. However, It took them 5.5 hours to move a one bed room apt! We had everything already packed in boxes and there was only 4 pieces of actual furniture that needed to be moved. Avoid at all costs!!!!! This is the dirtiest, most unethical company you'll ever deal with. First they give you a low-ball estimate to get your business. Once they are at your house, they'll drag their feet and strategically take a long time. Once your furniture is on their truck, they say it took a lot longer than originally expected and gauge you for probably double what they initially quoted you. Think you can fight it? Nope.
