Where to start... They were an hour and fifteen minutes late after the time window. The movers showed up stoned and stinking of marijuana. They scratched my refrigerator. I was charged $150 for travel time even though I was told repeatedly by the sales rep that I would not be charged for that. Beware of this moving company. They claim to care about customer service but in reality just find ways to take your money. The management team, particularly Edward Wallen will bully you and fraudulently charge you. I packed all of my belongings and only needed labor. The operator said that they offered labor only when they don’t. Quoted me for per hour service. A truck and 3 movers showed up and began charging me 30 minutes before I got there. If you want to have one of the worst experiences of your life, hire these jackals to pack and move you. They moved my household goods from my home to 2 storage units. Charged me $5200, including $400+ dollars for fuel - from one location in KC t another less than 10 miles away. I hired another company, PDS to move my things from the storage units to my new home. My sister scheduled this company to move her THREE months ago and today, August 10th, they advised her at approximately 2:30 this afternoon that they could not move her belongings today and asked if they could reschedule for a week from now. I used All My Sons yesterday. Initially I was very frustrated with the communication. They quoted me a price for a two-person team after I told them what moving needs I had. Then later, the day before the move, I was told I would actually need a three-person team that would cost me more hourly. Even though the person explained the benefits of this three-person team, and that it would make the move faster and possibly save me money in the end (from the faster move), I felt misled and lied to. Horrible experience. Never showed up and Edward from KC kept giving excuses and then at 8 PM said they weren’t coming and couldn’t fit us in the next day or week. Never said he was sorry and argued with me the whole time. DONT USE THEM!!!!! THEY HAVE MANY BAD REVIEWS!!
This review is on Google as well: Awful experience so far and the move is tomorrow June 21st! They have our $100 deposit and have had it since May 11th. I don’t know about you but a deposit confirms our booking. Today we get an EMAIL that says they have “been unable to reach you” and if we don’t contact them by the end of the day we will be removed from the schedule. Excuse me?!
