Communication from the office was horrific at best. We reserved weeks in advance for a small move, paid a deposit, and were told we would receive communication closer to time of the scheduled date an ETA for the movers. It was a few days prior to our move and we had received no communication. We attempted to call and the phone rang continuously with no option to leave a message. I have never dealt with bigger crooks in my life. After they loaded thousands of dollars worth of my stuff they told me to sign something saying they brought 3 trucks ( which I paid for) when they only brought 2. I refused so they stopped the job, with all my stuff in their possession. They didn’t follow the contract and we had to rent a uhaul and pack up a bunch of our own possessions and move them ourselves. BEWARE LOUISIANA!!!! On 4/1/2019 this company was hired to move my furniture from a home i was selling to a home I was renting while I finish construction of a new home. My fiancé originally contacted to company because she was "old friends" with one of the managers. After a lengthy initial phone call explaining every room in the house in detail, the guy gave us a quote and we agreed. The job was only completed maybe 50%. This was one worst moving experience I have ever had. The movers went incredibly slow, and spent a lot of time talking, which caused the quoted time to more than double. The crew asked for a 30 min lunch and showed up late, and we were charged for it. Jimmy, the manager, would not work with us on getting their extra time removed. Everything was delivered in working order and unbroken, but a 15 mile move for a 700sqft apt should not have been $1,400 when the estimate was under $600. I had them move me last Saturday. Two facts: 1. I was originally scheduled in the Morning, and have been told they will come out late Morning. I started the move by myself with some small stuff while waiting for them to show up, but they haven't until 12:00 pm. I called them back, and they told me my appointment was scheduled in the afternoon?! My records show that you were originally set up as a second move in the day which is typically started as soon as the first job completes. As far as the 2.5 labor hours taken for your move I do see you were moving from and 8th floor apartment to a 5th floor apartment. Not a good experience. They forgot to take my bed frame off the truck, had to come back to deliver almost 2 hours later. Then I realized that they lost an item of mine in the move. They didn't take any responsibility for it, didn't call me back as they said they would, and were generally rude and difficult to deal with. No compensation, just the run around. Cost me more than my last move, where I moved almost twice as much stuff without issue. Go with another company, you won't regret it.

We used All My Sons for a move this past weekend and it was a terrible experience. They showed up late and several things are damaged or broken. I told the company several times we were moving out of a third floor apartment with no elevator and they claimed that is what made the move take so long. When I moved into that same apartment with the same amount of stuff I only had two movers and they moved in half the amount of time. Moved to Blue Springs from Overland Park July 2015. Called ahead accepted the quote and paid the deposit two weeks in advance. Got a call from the driver that they will be very busy today and can’t take care of me today. My lease was up the following day and I could not reschedule but would be able to take the help whenever they finish at the current job. They quoted me one quote and then wanted more at the end. I paid for 3 guys and one of them was fat and lazy who took a 5 minute break every 3 minutes. They complained the whole time. It was a disaster... never again.
