All my sons and their supposed owner Matt Davis are a terrible company to work with. I booked my move with them 2 weeks before move day and they assured me they could get me taken care of. We booked an afternoon appointment as I could not get access to the new house until later in the day. I then Paid the Deposit and he said they would call early the next week to schedule move day. Do not use this company! They lost a lamp of mine and were very unconcerned about reimbursement for me. Owners response was “mistakes happen “. Movers themselves did ok but I believe my lamp was either broken and they wouldn’t admit it or someone just took it, because they claimed it wasn’t on the truck and it wasn’t at either the house I moved from or moved to. A lamp doesn’t just vanish into thin air. Got no help whatsoever from the owner
We were told they were going to wrap everything and protect the floors. They didn’t do any of it. We have scraped walls, floors and handrails. When they arrived to the new house, they just piled everything in the middle of the room and took off as quickly as they could. They left behind rails for beds and drawers for the dressers. On top of all of that, they dropped my dad’s air compressor and have been a pain in the butt on getting in replaced. Save yourself a hassle and use a different company!
The movers were great the company awful! Quoted $650 to load a storage unit into their truck and unload at my house, 3 men, 3 hours cool. It’s easy for 3 to turn to 6 when your the second job of the day and they worked an 18 hour day the previous day, with 5 hours between shifts. My $650 quote turned into a little over a grand and I had to fight to have packing materials removed since they didn’t use any! As a district manager for a property management company, I often make referrals for moving companies. this is one company that I could never recommend.They gave a quote for three guys for three hours, moved almost half of the stuff, only worked 2 hours, and charged almost double the quote. That is extremely unprofessional, and unfair to consumers who are already facing the expense of a new home, and have planned for the move financially. Beware of this company.
Absolutely the worst experience I have had with a moving company. Very unprofessional movers. I just can't recommend this company to anyone. Ran out on me before the job was completed. But they did make sure I had paid them in full before they did any work . SMH !!
I would not rate this company even 1 star if it were allowed to rate them a 0 out of 5 stars. Our moving experience was awful from start to finish. I was told the movers would arrive b/t 8-10am. After calling twice to inquire as to their whereabouts, I was told they were on another job already and would arrive shortly. At almost 11am, the workers arrived. Lack of communication, showed up with movers with only 3 hours left of labor for a 4-5 hour job and turned around on me and said I didn't tell them everything we needed moved, Movers damaged furniture. Tons of options out there, use someone else.
The Movers were themselves were nice... there were a handful of damages though which I can’t blame them for. Things happen when moving. They gashed my hardwood floors, scratched a coffee table, and broke a vase that was a family treasure. The issue was with the manager/owner who “agreed” to take care of the damages.
