"I could not be happier with my Square Trade experience. I purchased a refurbished laptop on ebay last year and only felt comfortable because I could get a 2-year warranty with Square Trade. Well, thank God I purchased that warranty! Within a year, my laptop started crashing frequently to the point where it was unusable. "I have never had to use a warranty service before and hate paying a monthly fee for one. Loved that SquareTrade was a one time payment but was nervous when my son's iPhone was damaged by water. However it turned out to be a great, fast experience. I filed my claim online, within a few hours we had the acknowledgement that the claim was a good one. "As one who sells insurance I can say first had that practically every company angles policies go favor themselves. Additionally most require sometimes complex steps for filing and then collecting on a policy. Finally, many product coverages place unreasonable limitations that sometimes prevent the cover item from being replaced. Sure Trade is by far the most upright company and coverage you can purchase. File a claim get product replacement or repair with no hassle. You would do well to purchase."
"Within a week of each other, my son dropped his new iPhone 6 on the driveway and cracked the screen, and my daughter dropped her new iPhone 6 in the pool. Thankfully we had the SquareTrade insurance. They directed us to the Apple Genius Bar, and they even waived the deductible. We have 9-10 different warranties on various TVs and electronic devices with Squaretrade, and whenever we have the unfortunate need for a claim, they take care of it quickly and professionally. "square trade has always given over and above customer service: This time, I filed my claim but could not find my original purchase receipt. I told the CS I thought I had uploaded it originally, and he said he could see an upload, but it was not readable and formatted correctly. I was bummed. I thoght i lost out on any claim. After 3 hours the rep called me and explained he worked on it until he could get it and all was good! I was again thoroughly impressed!"
