The CS rep was not helpful. I had to speak with a supervisor, Roman, to get the problem straightened out. The part that holds the water filter broke. I have been trying to get it fixed since 2/25/21. I'm still waiting on the part that was supposed to be here a few days ago. The supervisor, Roman, was very helpful.
On a positive note, I avoided the overpriced plans offered by my mobile phone company so I didn't get ripped off there. On the negative side, the claims experienced was delayed by Square Trade and took multiple web site visits, chats, and phone calls to resolve. I was sent to an "approved" repair shop without consideration of business hours or repair speed. Sent Fitbit Versa in for repairs for heart rate errors and came back with the same problem. Had a note - “updated firmware”. Well, I guess that wasn’t the problem! Would have given them a 1 star except the shipping was free & efficient.
It’s rather foolish to not purchase an extended protection plan from SquareTrade. Seriously, that’s all you need to know! Now, go in peace.
My product was not repairable and I had a full refund immediately.
I sent my fitbit in on February 2nd via your prepaid label. I haven't heard a word or received my item back in the mail. The process seemed like it was going to be seamless in the beginning but now no communication whatsoever.
I was told my device was repaired by replacing the faulty component and was being sent back. However, the device returned to me WAS NOT what I had sent in for repair. The device I provided for repair was Arlo Pro 2 but the one I received was Arlo Pro, which is the first generation (780p) model. This is quite concerning as certainly not a positive experience. After sending in all the required documents, there was no follow up on my claim for 2 weeks until I called in to find out the status of it.
Glad I paid for this insurance. Will do business again when offered.
