I recently got a headset and I broke it and needed a replacement I bought the headset brand new for 60$ when I asked for the refund the only gave me enough money for a refurbished one
Square trade worked hard for the customer thanks
I thought to save some money and use squaretrade. Big mistake, the point of buying insurance is it is there when you need it. They make it so difficult to file a claim to try to dissuade you from doing it. They keep asking for more details, etc. I am done with them. I will just continue to go through this nightmare just to make them pay what they owe me, but will cancel the service right afterwards. Be warned, you get what you pay for.

Not able to solve my claim with TV
Almost impossible to reach a human by phone. Then the contact promised action which he did not take so that means he lied to me. Finally i did reach another person who decided to handle the complaint with a proper refund which I rec'd today. I would never choose to deal with that company again.
Although Square trade paid off the policy, they could not find a reliable company to contact me and repair the item which is very very reparable. The service from the outsourced company was miserable. Don’t count on Square trade to ever repair an item for you.
For a no hassle process it sure is a hassle! Had to send it to them as I couldn't possibly have gotten a broken screen replaced locally. Shipped it. TWO WEEKS AFTER I HAVE CONFIRMATION that they rcvd it I get a notice that they've rcvd it and the clock starts ticking on the 2-5 day repair although it's not really a clock and it's not really ticking and they have given themselves plenty of leeway to let this drag out forever waiting on parts if that's what they deem the slow down is.
