I made a claim, which was approved. I called back to let Allstate know that the insured item was in fact and working. I called and tried to have the payout reversed. To no avail, could this be resolved. I am not cashing the check, as it it would be fraudulent to do so. My next plan of action, when I have a chance is to send a letter to the Allstate CEO and return the check.

This is a horrible experience. We have not received our replacement phones after waiting over 2 weeks. This is not acceptable for someone who relies on their phone for work and for family safetly. We had two seperate claims on two different phones. We received a phone last week that was defective and the other phone we put a claim in hasn't even been received. Still says "in review" on the website.

I don't ever, ever want to deal with them again. I have been dealing with a claim since Feb 4th, 2023, that was approved the same day and egift card paid out. I went to use egift card, gone, nonexistent, find out days later, when I HAD TO CALL, it was audited, because I had to show proof of purchase. 1st it took so long to come out. Then repair did not work. Going on almost 2 weeks and still not fixed now we have to wait again will never buy warranty from them again.

One of our Puretalk phones covered by the Square Trade/Allstate plan stopped working about 3 weeks ago. I filed a claim after a mix-up with policy coverage was cleared up. I took the Apple phone to a certified Apple repair facility as recommended by Allstate. After a wasted afternoon, nothing was able to be fixed by the repair facility, so I returned home.
