My purchased boom box CD would not work. I had it checked by Best Buy Geek Squad and was informed it could not be repaired. I filed a claim with Square Trade who quickly answered and sent me a check. Great, fast service.
We had a TV warranty with Square Trade and they did replace the TV however they gave us very little selection in replacement TV"s which in my opinion were inferior quality to what we had. When we complained they said we could have waited for a better TV but since we already had received a replacement (we had not opened the box) they could not make a change. I am no longer a fan of SquareTrade. They gave me a Roku TV to replace my Sanyo TV. It has a 90 day warranty only on the back of it. I get far better service with warranties from Sears. No worries though, as I seen that they are part of the Allstate family. I'll just move all my insurance elsewhere.

It was a first for me to purchase insurance. It was a first to need the insurance. It was a first to contact Square Trade for a claim. The initial call was nerve racking thinking the worst. After some initial confusion, problems related to finding the original receipt, and finding the policy, having the computer in my possession, things began to work out. The final outcome was to my total satisfaction.
I was told I would get a cash card for what I paid but instead the want me to send the product in for repairs. They’re headphones, who’s going to repair headphones

Filed a claim for a 55"tv with a Roku and was sent a 50" home theater, this is not a TV. After getting the run around multiple times, I had to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau.
