I was surprised when I found out that my Zero Hassle Protection plan only covered mechanical and electrical problems on my item. Lucky for me it appears that it may be one or both issues with no fault of my own. So Zero Hassle Protection isn't as hassle free as advertised. Won't happen again with any purchase of a warranty. Buyers beware. Ask questions before buying any plan from Square Trade.
My washing machine had was leaking water so i called to have it looked at. Service tech arrived and confirmed it was leaking but culdnt find where. Tech said i dont know what to do. Square trade toldthe tech and i over the phone that they couldnt replace parts when they dont know where it is leaking so if it happens again video and send it in and tell them where its leaking or i go find another tech. They delivered sooner that the date that I was told.
I disabled find my iPhone and wiped device. Mailed it in, then was told I did not disable it and will be charged 750$ Apple customer support did not help nor did SquareTrade’s

I filed my claim, they sent me a shipping label to return my broken product and less than a week from beginning the process I had a check to replace my item. The process was simple and efficient.
My phone stopped working, I called and received a quick resolution with a friendly and professional customer service person. My only complaint is that my phone died on the road, so I went to a Consumer Cellular retailer listed on the CC website to get a replacement phone. The store employee knew nothing about CC's and Square Trade's phone insurance program so I just had to buy a new phone, which I desperately needed. Unde their warranty, SQ first sent me to a local repair shop to replace a bad battery which negated any possibility of Apple even LOOKING at my phone, much less replacing it. Then the 3rd party battery failed...TWICE! Now I’ve been working for a month to get a replacement refurbished phone to replace mine that must be plugged into power to work.
