"Square Trade has been a lifesaver for me twice now! I live in a house with two kids 6 years and under, one dog and an admittedly butter-fingers me. Electronics in my house have a short life span, unfortunately, but Square Trade has been such a relief. You can handle your claim completely online or call if you prefer to talk to a person. "I have been using Squaretrade for years now and they have been excellent from their value to their customer service. I have written a number of positive reviews for them but unfortunately like a lot of companies that go big, they have dropped significantly in quality and responsiveness. "I had some minor hiccups, but ultimately everything resolved wonderfully. SquareTrade had me send in my broken tablet to be fixed, and they sent it back saying it was fixed when it actually wasn't. I sent it back again, they claimed to fix it again, and sent it back to me, still not working. "SquareTrade is epic! Sometimes, I don't need it: I have a 70" TV and a boombox that never had anything wrong with them in the 2+ years they were covered. Other times, I really did! My brother is a total clutz and broke his phone four times and ended up getting it fixed like new each time for a really good price! "The sign up and request process is as simple as taking a picture of your receipt and sending an email. There was no misunderstanding the rules or " fine print". There was no waiting on hold because I handled the whole process online. From signing up, to requesting a repair, and reimbursement was totally online and simple. I have a Verizon phone. "We bought a Samsung TV at Costco and bought the warranty to go with it. We finally used the warranty on really bad pixilation issues that the TV was having. They sent the part out, scheduled a tech and had it fixed within a week. The customer service was easy to work with, very professional and nice. The TV seems to be working fine so far. They do not cover software issues, Only hardware. "
"Claim was easy. Once I heard back from them, I answered a quick question and the Square Trade rep told me that I would be reimbursed the purchase price of my broken Cuisinart. It just took about a week to hear from them, which was fine because I wasn't dying for lack of a food processor. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service. "
"Would never give them my money again. I placed a claim and they sent me the wrong provider. So I called again and was sent another phone, this time a phone that doesn't charge. When I called again to ask for a working phone, they told me they can't place another claim until they receive both replacements.
