"My camera fell off of a tripod and damaged the lens retraction mechanism. It took less than 5 minutes to go through the online process with Square Trade., They paid for FedEx shipping both ways. Sent it at 6 PM Monday evening; received repaired camera at 9 AM Saturday."

"I bought this insurance. When my phone screen cracked i got it repaired and sent them the invoice. I waited for a long time to receive my check but it never came. When i called them back it turns out that they never received it, even though i followed the customer service instructions exactly. When i needed my phone repaired again, i couldn't file a claim because of this problem. "SquareTrade is the best! I had to file a claim, my first, for a tablet and was shocked how quick and easy it was. I expected a big hassle and that I'd probably be told my warranty didn't cover such and such. That wasn't the case at all: Sure it's covered, send it in and we'll send a check if it can't be fixed. BAM! The check is already on the way. What a pleasant surprise in this day and age! I only wish they covered cell phone loss. I recently lost mine and had to pay cash to replace it ($600)."

"I am not a big believer in Insurance on electronics. However, I did so with SquareTrade because I felt that the costs of the warranty contract were appropriate for the value of the electronic that I was buying. I never thought that I would have to use the warranty but I just had to recently. I was completely amazed that because the item was not repairable, ST provided a full refund on the product without any painful process.
