I rang up again and they again asked for the phone and this time they said that the hardware had failed and that they will refnd me the cost of my phone in 3 working days and here i have the amount in my account today. "Called on 10/27/14 (yesterday as of this writing) to file a claim on my son's phone bought through Costco. Was told that my claim was approved and that I would receive the phone via FedEx on 10/28/14. Late in the morning on 10/28 I had not received tracking information for the shipment, so I called SquareTrade again. For a second time I was assured that the phone would be delivered on 10/28. "I bought a Gateway laptop from the online Microsoft store on Black Friday and a SquareTrade warranty a couple of hours later with drop protection because the online store didn't seem to have a customer service department or much of a help center. I knew that if something happened to the laptop, I'd be in big trouble. Sure enough...the case cracked and the power unit wouldn't work with the charger any more! "Your warranty service rocks! My poor tablet fell out of my hands on to the concrete when I was getting out of the car. To add insult to injury I had other heavy things in my hand that fell on top of the tablet. In my haste to pick everything up, the tablet fell again hitting the concrete again. I contacted Square Trade and put in a warranty claim online. I was told they would contact me the next day. "I was not impressed with the claims process. Instructions regarding where to e-mail the receipt were not clear. I e-mailed it to them, and after a week I had to call them and ask them if they got it. They said no, then the guy checked again and found it. It seemed unorganized. Two days later I get an e-mail regarding my payment (I opted for the gift card where they pay you a bonus 3.5%). "I bought a phone from ebay and insurance from square trade. well the phone stopped working after a few months. I called square trade and they were beyond helpful - they helped me find the pin number of the phone which wasn't easy bc this particular phone was factory sealed and I couldn't find the number. Then they sent me a fexex label to send it back. I sent it to them and unfortunately it was not able to be repaired so they returned my money, SO EASY, I couldn't believe it. I will use them again for sure."
