"It is only once in a blue moon that I ever have to use a warranty but such a time came last week when I required the first use of something I purchased brand new only months ago, only to discover that it would not work. I called Square Trade who advised me to call the manufacturer to see what they would cover. I learned that the OEM warranty had reached a point where only parts would be covered. "Paid for itself! My portable DVD player screen was broken by accident. I filled out the SquareTrade claim form with product info and description of the damage. They approved it and emailed back instructions for shipping it to them for free. Then Square Trade credited me by PayPal for the original purchase price BEFORE I MAILED BACK THE DAMAGED PRODUCT! Wow! And the warrenty was cheaper than the store offered PLUS included accidental damage coverage!"
"Don't buy insurance for the manufacturer of a product..You will pay MUCH more than if you purchase insurance for Square Trade.ANYTIME that I buy something new..I purchase the insurance from Square Trade..They are the best!! I recently had to file a claim on a product that quit working..They are sending me a check for the amount that I paid for the product. I wish it could have been repaired but the check will go toward a new one and I will get the ensurance on it from Squar Trade."
"Love the Squaretrade. All of my new purchases get a Squaretrade. I recently had the HDMI Ports go on a 1 year old LED TV. Squaretrade opted to fix it. Sent someone out, they took the TV, returned it when I got back from vacation. No fuss, no muss! Then my 1.5 year old xbox died and Squaretrade opted not to repair it and issue an Amazon Gift Card for the purchase price. I cannot recommend Squaretrade enough to everyone I know. I recently purchased a new Xbox and bought another Squaretrade agreement."
