When the light wasn't coming on in a bedroom, we called American Home Shield. It took a long time to get them because they are busy, but they answered and organized to send somebody. They hired City First Electric to come and they were organized. They called back and made sure we knew when they were going. They were really good.
We were impressed by the quick service that American Home Shield delivered. Our AC was fixed within one visit and the technician was very knowledgable. We appreciate the professional help we received. Thank you!
Submitting a claim with AHS has always been painless and very easy. I submitted a claim on the phone because the display where it shows the time and it has your controls for your oven, that display pushed in a little bit. For whatever reason, the wires may have touched when it did that, and it popped. It burned. I talked to the contractor on a Wednesday and he came out on a Wednesday to look at the issue. American Home Shield has been great. We've had four claims and everything has been taken care of quickly. It's so simple to file a claim. It's amazing and it's the easiest thing I've ever done. Everyone I've had with them has been easy as it can be. It was quick and there were no questions asked. They've been great. I'll recommend them to anybody. I had a problem with my washer. It was off-balance. I went on the AHS website and wrote that I had a problem with it and then they wrote down the name of the company. I called the company and they sent someone out. It was real easy. The contractor who came out was really professional and he fixed it in 10 minutes. The washer has been working perfectly since. I would recommend AHS to anyone who wants insurance for their stuff in their house to prevent breakage and for peace of mind.
My neighbor in Texas was using American Home Shield, and he said it was pretty good. So when I got the new house, I figured I'd go ahead and use them. So far, so good. When the AC was leaking, I did a claim through their website and the process was simple. They sent All South Air Systems out. They told me that they blew out the line and everything was good. It was just clogged up. The contractor was very knowledgeable and did good work.
I went through the internet to file a claim. It asked me what unit and household I was trying to file a claim on. I picked the unit and it asked me descriptions of things that have gone wrong with it. I selected it and hit submit. The contractor was pleasant. He said there was nothing wrong with the water heater. It was brand new. But he did cut the water up. My sump pump was tripping the circuit breaker and someone from Home Service Corporation came out the next day. He looked at it and said, "Check the circuit." We did a few things to see if the circuit would trip, and he looked at it and said, "Okay, this needs to be replaced." He happened to have one in his truck and the whole thing took 30 minutes.I had a little bit of difficulty twice with Home Shield. Once, it was resolved quickly.
