We made a claim to American Home Shield because we didn't have any hot water. The gentleman that came out was very punctual. He arrived on time and he diagnosed the problem right away. Then we called our gas company to fix the problem. So, he was very in tune to what was going on and helped us get the issue resolved. We've only used American Home Shield one time, but it certainly has been a help. Hopefully, we won't need it in the future, but it's good to know that if we do, we can give them a call.
Lake Anna Doors did a great job with the services. The lasers on my garage door needed to be replaced and they had some in stock. They did over and above when they fixed the garage door and made sure that it's nice and quiet. It works now. I just started with American Home Shield and so far, so good.
The icemaker in our refrigerator was not working, so the guy from Altamont Appliance Repair came over. He looked at it and he put some temporary fix, but he said that it could break again. So, he suggested to change the part. Then he ordered the part and once the part came in, he called me and scheduled an appointment. He replaced the part and now the icemaker is working well. We were also very happy with the tech. He was professional, on time, and good.
We bought the refrigerator in November and we needed to change the water filter. We couldn't get the filter to come out. We talked to Frigidaire and to Lowe's, and we did everything they said to do but we couldn't get the silly thing out. That wasn't covered under our warranty. Things have been very positive with American Home Shield. Even when I first started with them and just asking information, they were very nice. With some agencies, I wonder how many hoops I have to go through and it wasn’t that way at all with American Home Shield. They were easy to do and they weren’t high-pressured too. I have been nothing but pleased with AHS responsiveness, dispatch, follow up! The use of the website to schedule and pay for services makes things so easy and not to mention their service providers respond promptly and take care of the issues efficiently within timeline promised. If not fixed, recall and they send them back out, usually within 48 hours.
My stove got into a locked position and it wasn’t coming on. The technician had to figure it out and I felt good about his knowledge. When he came, he had his mask on the whole time. Everything went good. My daughter has American Home Shield and she referred me. We were told that we both would get a $25 Amazon coupon gift card. She had to call and call. She finally got hers around the 1st of August or the end of July, but I have never received mine.
We had issues with the same appliance right after the service and AHS took care of the situation quickly without any hassle and without any additional charges. The company was able to come out the same day we called and took care of the issue.
I had a dryer that went down and I submitted a claim to American Home Shield. Their contractor took a couple of times to fix the issue but they eventually fixed it. They were a little frustrated but they were really nice about things. Everything has been working fine since they came. I'm glad I got AHS's coverage. Before my dryer claim, I had a refrigerator that went down and having AHS was good timing especially with everything going on. They fixed my refrigerator.
