We had a leak in the shower and the sink in our main bathroom that All American Plumbing and Rooter came out for and they did a very good job. They were very thorough and they fixed the leaks. Then, American Home Shield had a construction person to come out and plaster over the holes that they had to cut inside the bathroom. Home Shield booked us ahead because it was close to the holidays. I appreciated that the rep made it as an emergency so we could get things faster.
Our pressure relief valve was malfunctioning for the house so we had to get somebody out to double-check it and make sure that it was malfunctioning. American Home Shield sent somebody out but I ended up calling twice to try to get them to fax the claim over to the plumber to say that it was the pressure relief valve. Finally, the plumber ended up calling his vice president at corporate and getting him to call somebody he knows at American Home Shield to get somebody out here. Water Wise Plumbing was great. They came out and were very professional. They looked at the garbage disposal. It was dead and they said they were gonna replace it. They went out to their truck. They had it on the truck and they grabbed it. Within half an hour, they were done. I'm very satisfied. So far, I'm very happy with the service. I did not have to wait long for American Home Shield to get a technician. They were here and took care of the job with no problems.
We filed a claim with American Home Shield for our oven that was not working. I called the toll number, went through the options and paid the $75 deductible to American Home Shield that we always pay. Just like the time I got somebody to come and fix my dishwasher, the main company, CK Appliance, called me. They said, “Here’s your time. American Home Shield is always good. I'm very happy with it. I called my water heater in and the representative I spoke to was excellent. The plumber who came was knowledgeable as well. He knew exactly what the problem was and he got the water heater going within a couple of minutes. It was very pleasant and quick.
My refrigerator was having some problems with the rear side. It was making some noise and smell. I called American Home Shield and got a scheduled appointment. The contractors that came out provided very good service. The refrigerator has been pretty good since they've been out.
I called American Home Shield for a dishwasher issue. They told me they’d charge me $65 and they also told me the company they were gonna send out. The contractor was a very nice gentleman. What the issue was was a hole was plugged up. All he had to do was remove the plug. So, it didn't take him like three seconds. It $65 for three seconds, but the experience was awesome.
