The AC was leaking under the air handler. After I called American Home Shield, it didn't take long at all to schedule me. The technician came out and did what he had to do. He assessed the problem and he was professional. He explained to me what was going on, made some suggestions and he was gone. He made sure everything was working fine. Also, he had on his mask and gloves. The AC is working perfectly now.
My experience with American Home Shield has always been great. I've used them for years. Last time, I expected the contractor to be able to do it that day, but he had to look at things and come back, which I understand. It was leaking. He found a drain and he replaced several things underneath. I recommend American Home Shield to anybody that has a house.
Everything went well with my recent claim with AHS regarding the AC unit. The contractor was out here the same day that I called that morning. He happened to be making a run out this way for another call and he just came right out and did it that same day that I called it in. He did great. It was determined that it needed a fan motor. We have had a home warranty with another company on some of our rental property that we were not satisfied with. We ran into a situation with a microwave that we purchased a couple of years before. It went out and quit. That warranty company did not want to replace it with the same microwave. They just wanted something comparable. I submitted a claim for a rekey online and it was pretty easy. Also, it was good with the tech who came out. Using Home Shield was very quick, efficient, and what you would hope it would be.
Total Air Care got scheduled within the week from submitting the claim. They came out pretty quickly and they weere great. The tech also wore a mask. The tech said that a little round thing in the AC that transfers power from one note to another was bad. He actually had that part on him. Total Air Care did good. It seems that AC is working fine. I'm pretty happy with American Home Shield. They're doing great job and have been pretty beneficial.
I've had American Home Shield since I've been in Georgia and it's been seven years. They what they say they're gonna do. I filed a claim for the dryer that was not working by phone and I got a recording. I didn't like that. I wanted to talk to a representative but I don't know how you get past the recording to do that. The air conditioning felt like there was no airflow in some of the spots. I saw an email, I responded, and then I did the request online. Walker River Mechanical was shorthanded and COVID has caused a lot of problems, but still, they did a good job. Apparently, the issue was a leak in the unit, so they found a leak somewhere else and the tech did everything in the same day.
I had a garage door opener that wouldn't open. I submitted a claim online with American Home Shield and it was pretty straightforward. The contractor that came out was very friendly and took care of the problem. Everything has been good since then. It's working exactly how it should.
