AHS has been super prompt and fair. Also, their website is really solid. I've gotten what I've asked for. We had issues with the HVAC and the pool heater. The HVAC was covered and the pool heater was not. For the pool heater, I called the contractor back and told them we still needed it fixed even though it's not covered and I never heard back. I've called twice. It was kinda disappointing. But the HVAC guy was here promptly and was very courteous. He figured out what the issue was and they were in and out fairly quickly.
American Home Shield is very responsive. It's also user-friendly and easy to set up. I've heard about them and it's been a good experience so far. When I had a claim for my AC, the technician was very professional and everything went well. He had on his face mask, a shoe shield and gloves. He said that the motor had burned out and he had to add in an item, which he had on him. Now, it's up and running just fine.
I called American Home Shield, and they sent somebody out to fix the toilet. They got it fixed that day. I've also done several other requests and I'm perfectly satisfied.
Our AC stopped blowing cool air. We put a claim on the website of American Home Shield. The contractors that came did a great job. They were very personable and kept us informed of what was going on. It’s blowing cold air now. It’s been a good experience with American Home Shield.
I had to have one of my toilets fixed and when I submitted the claim, it went very smoothly. The guy who came was very professional and he was on time. We also had our air conditioner go bad and American Home Shield took care of it. We've had them for years when we lived in Maryland and we've never had a problem with them. My AC would turn on but wouldn't blow any cold air. Submitting claims online to American Home Shield has been really simple. I just go down their list and click what's wrong with my home. Home Shield sent a company out but then the techs from there said they don't go on roofs. AHS had to get another company for me. They did and Coaches HVAC Extraordinair came out and handled my issue quickly.
It's really easy submitting a claim with AHS. You just go online and submit it and they have 24 hours to get back to you. I had no problem when submitting a claim. I just did it on my phone. I had an AC issue and then the contractors came out. We thought they fixed the problem. The day they came, I went and left town to go to The Keys for a week. The faucet was dripping and I fixed it myself for $25. It worked perfect. My granddaughter came and she turned it on. It broke so I called American Home Shield. APC Plumbing came out and put a new one in and cleaned out the faucet. It was within a day or so and it works great now. The guy was good. He came out, put on his booties and he had on his mask. Appointment for service was made promptly. The only complaint was service Appointment was 2 weeks out. Fortunately the service company was able to fix my washer during that Appointment. Had it required a special part to fix, I would be without my washer for almost a month. Everyone did their job perfectly. It was just the wait time that was extremely inconvenient.
